Léopold Plomteux

Founding member of the artist groups Réalité-Cobra (1948/49 to 1951) and subsequently Art Abstrait (founded in May 1952), Belgian artist Léopold Plomteux (1920-2008) transitions from figuration to abstraction in the late 1940s.
