Maus Contemporary is excited to announce our participation
at the 11th edition of DRAWING NOW Paris, March 23 - 26.
Please join us in Paris for this year's edition of DRAWING NOW, March 23 - 26.
Maus Contemporary will present a new large scale drawing project by Travis Somerville, Presidential Suite, comprised of 90 individual elements.
The artist's first European Museum exhibition, Homeland No Security, is currently on view at the CAC Málaga, Spain.
We are also happy to announce the inclusion of a recent drawing by New York artist Catherine Tefur.
Peruvian born artist Tafur spent her childhood in Peru in a bicultural home with a Japanese mother and Peruvian father before relocating to the US. The content of her work is informed by the experience of her youth as a queer, multiracial immigrant in American suburbia. Her drawings and paintings explore themes of death, violence, vulnerability and loss of innocence. Her subjects are political and personal, feminist and confrontational. Since studying at the Cooper Union School of Art on a full scholarship, she has had numerous group and solo exhibitions in the US.
